Reloop Mixage Interface Edition Mapping Traktor Pro 2
Hello fellow DJ’s!
I need help with the following questions. I’ve searched on YouTube and the internet, but don’t know what to do.
I have a Reloop Beatpad and want to use traktor pro 2 (demo) on my Windows 10 laptop. From the Reloop website i have installed two firmware, one mapping and one asio driver. I need help with:
1. First i start the laptop, then traktor, then my Beatpad. But i have to turn on and of the beatpad 4-5 times before traktor makes à connection. The connection gets then orange. Somehow the asio driver doesn’t reconize automatic the laptop???
2. The audio button on top is orange. I use internal mode to see the volume faders in traktor. I notice the external mode sounds better, but i need the internal mode.
3. Despite the installation of the Reloop mapping from the website not al buttons are activated. For exemple: bounce loop, fx, sampler, phones.Does anybody have experience with this using a Beatpad with traktor pro 2????
Another question.
4. If i want to use the iPad on a laptop stand. Where can i buy the longer cable to connect with my Beatpad?
I want to use traktor because it’s easer to make preparation list and copy from the harddrive into the dj software.
Hopefully somebody can give me simple and good advice!
Greatings,
Peter Veldhuizen
NetherlandsWell:
The Beatpad is not a Traktor controller, the midi mapping offered by reloop is meant as a “starting point” for you to map out the rest. So to find all the anwers you need I would carefully read the Traktor Bible and then map the unit accordingly. In there it also tells you the huge number of steps you need to do to make the unit recognize and not conflict with other Windows drivers. As far as cables… I would try any shop that offers cables 🙂
And as for simple… there is no such thing as simple with Traktor.
Which brings us back to our usual bit of advice concerning Traktor software, use it with NI/Traktor gear only!
If you want a beet pad that will sync with Traktor the best one to go with is Machine. NI gear is designed to work with NI peripherals. I use Machine with Traktor as extra cue buttons with my S4.

Traktor Pro 2 Pirate Bay
Hi at all,
as a cd an vinyl dj im a newbie at using controllers. I recently bought a reloop terminal mix 2. I new its is developed for Serato but i want to use ot for traktor pro.
I tried some different mappings with the traktor free demo version but there were several problems and issues.
I would like to know which traktor version i have to purchase and which mapping (& where to download) i have to use so that everything works properly with the reloop controller.
Thx very much
Hey Moritz,
I am sure there are some of our readers that can answer your specific questions.
On a broader note, Traktor is quickly alienating themselves from non-NI controller support. There is very little doubt that they are making their software to work best (or at all) with NI gear. Even with decent mappings, it’s very hard to get the right jogwheel performance with Traktor with non-NI gear.
By “Readers”, I’m pretty sure he means the people who read all the articles and such on this website, DigitalDJTips. He’s basically leaving it up to other people to comment on this post, and to better answer your questions.
The thing is that the Terminal Mix 2 is not a Traktor controller and the mapping that reloop did was for an older version of Traktor that is no longer supported.
Official statement is: If you would like to do it, you will have to modify the mapping yourself to get it to work. The only still supported controller for Traktor by reloop is the Jockey 3 Remix.
So unless you are really good at Traktor mappings, you might have backed the wrong horse.
